The Murrow Greenhouse is the oldest greenhouse on the WSU Pullman campus. Historically, it is the original Department of Botany greenhouse dating back to the 1920s. The greenhouse is located south of Murrow (east) Communications Building and north of Eastlick Hall.
What is currently Murrow East was the original Science (now Abelson) Hall on the WSC campus. The greenhouse is attached to the building adjacent to what was the original Herbarium location. Constructed of steel and glass, it is approximately 1000 square feet and houses a portion of the permanent botanical teaching collection.
