EMic 406 -- Microtechniques.
4 Credits.
"Modern methods for preparation and imaging of biological material for light microscopy."



EMic 506

-- Graduate level counterpart to EMic 406 .



EMic 586

-- Special Projects in Electron Microscopy .
2 or 3 credits, offered Fall & Spring semesters.
"Individual projects using electron microscopy including transmission electron microscopy and/or scanning electron microscopy. Students are provided hands-on instruction in specimen preparative procedures including ultramicrotomy. Students who take 586 should also register for 587. May be repeated for credit."



EMic 587

-- Special Topics in Electron Microscopy .
1 credit, Fall & Spring semesters.
"Initially, the instructor provides fundamental theory and practical aspects of EM instrumentation and preparative techniques. Students present the results of their project in 586."
