Advising

When you become a biology or zoology major you will be assigned an academic advisor. Your advisor will help you to plan coursework, consider options for research, internships, and study abroad, and make decisions about career or professional objectives. Meet with your advisor at least once every semester to stay on track.

Need to speak with an advisor but you’re not an SBS student? Stop by the main office in Abelson 301 to make an appointment or email sbs@wsu.edu.

Are you interested joining us? Are you currently a high school student or parent? Thinking of transferring to WSU and have an interest in Biology? Then schedule a personalized Zoom meeting with one of our professional academic advisor or our student peer mentors to learn about our programs, research opportunities, and student life.

We want to answer your questions and help you envision your career path at WSU!
